Deontay Wilder rematch is 'confirmed and signed’ - Tyson Fury

Tyson Fury has disclosed his rematch against Deontay Wilder is 'confirmed and signed'. The duo will battle for the second time on 22nd February, 2020.

Last year December bout between the duo ended in a controversial split draw and are now set for a rematch.

Fury’s bout in December 2018 with Wilder  ended in a controversial split draw.
Many opined the Brit had done enough to win the fight and with it Wilder's WBC heavyweight title, despite being knocked down twice.

The second knockdown was witnessed in the 12th round of the fight, it was powerful and seemed to have stopped Fury.

But Fury defied expectation to get up on his feet and saw out the remaining seconds to hear the final bell.

"The Wilder rematch has been confirmed and signed. 22nd February, it’s on,” Fury said in a footage shared on YouTube.

“This time, I haven’t been out of the ring for three years. This time, I haven’t been abusing too much alcohol. And this time, I’m going to knock him the f**k out."

The last year’s bout is the only fight in which either man has not claimed victory in their respective careers.

Just last month, Fury returned to action against little-known German Tom Schwarz, stopping him in the second round in Las Vegas.

Wilder took on Dominic Breazeale in May, recording the 40th KO win of his 42 fights by defeating his opponent in the first round.

In September, the American will bout against Luis Ortiz, and Fury will lace them up in October ahead of the Wilder rematch.
